How to prepare tasty vegetable Pulao recipe

Recipe for Aromatic Vegetable Pulao 

Overview Pulao, a fragrant rice dish, is a staple in many homes across India, so the author has chosen it as the basis for the recipe. It has some brightly crisp salad-like vegetables, which make the dish look better and more interesting, effectively communicating its wide acceptability as an all-purpose meal. It will always work whether it is an evening get-together at home or a fast weeknight meal that one is looking forward to preparing.


– 1 cup basmati rice

– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or ghee

– 1 huge onion, thinly sliced

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1-inch ginger, grated

– 1 cup combined greens (carrots, peas, inexperienced beans, and potatoes)

– 1 tomato, chopped

– 2 inexperienced chilies, slit (optional for extra spice)

– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

– 1 bay leaf

– 2-three cloves

– 2-three inexperienced cardamom pods

– 1 cinnamon stick

– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

– 1 teaspoon garam masala

– Salt to flavor

– 2 cups water or vegetable broth

– Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

– Lemon wedges (for serving)


Prepare the rice:

– Wash the basmati rice with bloodless water till the water runs out. Soak the rice for 20 hours, then drain and set aside.

 Greens preparation method:

Heat some oil over medium heat in a large or deep skillet and let it soften. That’s when cumin sticks/bay leaves/cloves/cardamom pods/cinnamon sticks must be put inside the oil for approximately 1 minute to make onions fry simultaneously. At this stage, add a mixture of ground roasted garlic and ginger paste while stirring continuously until it boils before adding finely chopped greens to mix them up.”

 Pour in your rice and spices – For greens:

Add some green powder, sprinkle it uniformly in a large amount rather than layering it over everything, and then mix well to coat them completely with each product. –Now gently combine them with some worn vegetable map – these are all the grains stuck onto that spice.

– Pour in water or vegetable broth and bring to a boil.

– Reduce the heat, cover the pot with a lid, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and all the water has been absorbed. One should refrain from stirring while the food is still cooking to avoid breaking the rice.

Garnish and serve:

 Tips for the best pulao

-Coconut oil can be used to freshen and enhance the flavor.

– Change vegetables, especially depending on season and availability. Cauliflower, bell peppers, and corn are good additions.
